215 Society Street

215 Society Street Wellness Center is a community hub of co-creators. We provide physical and energetic space for individuals to find courage in their own perosnal growth and creative self-expression, for couples and families to discover reconciliation and for all of us to have a "third place" where belonging and inclusivity are at the heart of our beloved community.

We do this by hosting a collective of holistic health professionals comitted to providing services that address the interconnected needs of the mind, body and spirit of each client. These professionals include mental health therapists (each with a different flair of personality, lived experience, education and therapuetic style); a board certified nurse practitioner and yes, even a comprehensive financial planner!

We work as a team to create and offer community workshops facilitated by dynamic healers, lightworkers, dreamers, artists, advocates and activists from the Upstate of SC in order to raise our community consciouness, enrich our congnitive awareness, embodied knowledge and access to a wide range of healing modalities.

Ruth Harbin Counseling

I’m glad to tell you all about myself … but I’m guessing what you really want to know is: “Is this a therapist who knows what she is doing AND that I will actually enjoy working with every week?”

You’re in the midst of looking up different therapists because you are feeling the strain of day to day encounters with folks. Maybe it’s because you don’t feel like you know or can express who you are, what you need or what you want. Maybe it’s because you are noticing a pattern in your interactions with others and you feel DONE. Maybe you just can’t seem to keep your emotions at a manageable level and it’s affecting ALL THE THINGS.

But before you completely give-up on yourself and your relationships, you are willing to try this therapy thing.

You have a deep inner knowing that can show you the way. My job is to act as a compass, a guidepost, a flashlight … pick a metaphor. I've studied the map and have some trail patches on my pack. Using the foundation of mindfulness and behavioral therapy, I will teach you the skills to uncover your own wisdom, voice and direction. As a being in human form, you are meant to experience courage, exploration and joy.

Empowering Tides Counseling

If you are searching for guidance and stability, going through a rough patch in life or struggling with life transitions, there is help. Joy and balance are achievable. Ebbs and flows of life are inevitable, but how we perceive and respond to them are not. The more we learn about ourselves and how to build on the strengths we already possess, the better we can deal with life's curve balls. Learning new thought processes and building on those strengths will begin to put us on the path to growth.

My approach leans on Mindfulness, Mind-Body medicine techniques as well as CBT to approach change with positivity, energy and peace. It is a goal of mine to create a space where you will feel heard and supported. Everyone's experiences and situations are different, therefore treatment is approached in an individual way.

I have come to realize that you don't have to go on this journey alone. Guidance and a listening ear can spark real change. I believe it is my job to help you find your unique path. I am here to listen, to guide, to empower, to fill your cup, and to create balance.

Born and raised in Greenville, SC, I love being able to help others in my hometown. After attending Presbyterian College and receiving a BS in Elementary Education and Religion minor, I went on to Clemson University to receive a Masters in Counseling. My favorite pastime is being with my husband, twin boys, and active birddog, Goose. I love to watch a good football game or tennis match. I find joy and replenish my energy with a good book, cup of coffee and spending time outdoors.

It's time to try this therapy thing. Whatever you've tried on your own doesn't seem to work. You find yourself trying so hard to do everything right in your relationships and with your family. And yet, the anxiety of trying to keep everything together gets in the way. You feel like you're not able to be the kind of spouse, parent, professional, or person you want to be. You're tired of feeling disappointed in yourself or resentful of others. You know damn well you can't "just get over it." You're ready to finally figure out how to get out of your own way. You're ready to dig deeper and do the hard work.

Whether this is your first time coming to therapy or you are looking for a new therapist, my priority is to get to know you and find what works for you. Together, we will explore the roots of these ongoing problems. We will spend time talking about the patterns you're stuck in. I want you to leave with something tangible to try at the end of each session.

My clients often find that my mix of solution focused approach with trauma therapy interventions from EMDR and Inner Child work allows them to explore their past while still moving toward their goals. I enjoy helping people who want to heal from childhood trauma and parents who want to break the cycle of trauma. Call me if you're ready to get unstuck.

Marina Osborn, Root-Cause Nurse Practitioner

Organic Living and Wellness LLC

I started Organic Living and Wellness, LLC to help others regain control of their health by investigating the root-cause of their symptoms, and treating the underlying dysfunctions. My passion for integrative medicine is driven by my desire to change a broken system where patient's voices often aren't heard when they say they continue to feel poorly despite "normal" lab testing, or feel dismissed when they say they feel like something is wrong in their body. My approach to treatment involves an in-depth workup to pinpoint potential sources of dysfunction, correct them, and optimize lab values.

I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and have 3 years of psychiatry experience and I hold a certification as a complementary integrative mental health professional and have received additional training on utilizing an integrative approach combining medications, in addition to supplement and lifestyle changes to improve mental health conditions including; depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and insomnia. I also specialize in treating female hormone dysfunction including PMS, PMDD, heavy periods, irregular periods, and painful periods.

The body is a communication network and often times when one area is imbalanced other areas are affected. A significant portion of my work often includes working with my patient's on repairing the Gastrointestinal system, supporting detoxification processes, and rebalancing cortisol to improve energy levels and sleep quality.

Creative Renewal Counseling & Art Therapy

I'm a licensed professional counselor and board certified art therapist, and the heart and soul behind Creative Renewal Counseling & Art Therapy. So many people I've worked with over the years have told me they felt drained, unmotivated, or just not quite like themselves, unsure what to do or where to turn, and ended up putting off getting the support they needed until things got to a breaking point. It doesn't have to get that far, but if it does, that's okay too. Whether you're just starting to notice something feels a little off or you're barely hanging on, you don't have to navigate it alone. My approach is laid-back, supportive, and real, no therapy jargon or toxic positivity here.

I offer a mix of talk therapy and creative work (no art skills required!). I believe in meeting people where they are, helping them make sense of what they're going through, and figuring out what actually helps, not just what sounds good on paper.

I often work with folks navigating big life transitions, anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling disconnected, just to name a few. Together, we can slow things down and create space for reflection, honesty, and growth in a way that feels authentic.

If that resonates with you, I'm here whenever you're ready. Feel free to reach out with any questions or schedule a free consultation to take the first step.
